Hollywood will soon have its own Blockchain platform
A Hollywood producer, named Andrea Iervolino, plans to demonstrate that it is not only in the advertising sector that money can be made, but also in the film sector coupled with the Blockchain universe. The producer who supported James Franco in directing the film “In Dubious Battle” has decided to launch a new Blockchain platform called TaTaTu.
It will not be a normal Blockchain platform since it will aim to bring a social and cryptographic economy to the entertainment industry. In other words, TaTaTu will be a social entertainment platform that will reward its users with Crypto Tokens associated with each activity they perform on the platform.
These activities will of course be varied and a reward will be given to users for watching, sharing or even creating videos on the platform.
A project in preparation since 2012
The idea of creating a Cryptographic platform revolving around the cinematographic world has already touched several start-ups. However, Andrea Iervolino is favored by the fact that he has many connections in Hollywood. The design of the platform started in 2012 and was entrusted to Jonathan Pullinger who has already worked on many Blockchain projects like Ethereum.
Iervolino explains that the TaTaTu token will reward users who watch and share the platform’s content with others. In addition, advertisers will also be able to use these tokens to broadcast their ads on the platform.
TaTaTu : streaming site, Blockchain platform and social network
TaTaTu platform users can also earn tokens by uploading content to the platform. The more content, the more revenue. TaTaTu also aims to serve ads to its users and will share advertising revenue in exchange for their attention.
Users can invite their friends on social networks to join the platform. From there, they can view, create and share videos with their friends while chatting with other members and recommending content they have enjoyed. The platform will also include music, games and sports.
Even if Iervolino’s project seems complicated to implement, the man does not skimp on the means to make it a reality. He is said to have invested a hundred million dollars in the project via the AMBi Media group, a consortium of film development, production, financing and distribution companies, which he co-directs with Lady Monika Bacardi.
