TRON (TRX) starts its transition to its own Blockchain
TRON has officially begun its transition from the Ethereum blockchain to its own network called Odyssey 2.0
In September 2017, the TRON Foundation launched its TRON (TRX) cryptocurrency on the Ethereum blockchain. Today, it wants to have its own network and has just launched its MainNet called Odyssey 2.0
Odyssey 2.0 is in beta for most of June to check its good working before its public release.
The token migration will take place from June 21 to 24 and TRX owners are invited to deposit their tokens (ERC-20) on the partner exchange platforms in order to receive an equivalent number of the new TRX token.
The public launch of Odyssey 2.0 is scheduled for June 25, a date named “Independence Day” by the project developers.
TRON is not the only Blockchain organization to leave Blockchain Ethereum for its own network.
EOS will launch its MainNet on June 2.
